This site was created to harness the power of the Internet to be Marbitz Torah. Using TorahLectures.com you can stream and download Torah lectures to your computer or MP3 player in minutes. With our comprehensive online Torah library you will find your favorite speakers, discover new ones and be able to search for your topic among thousands of lectures. B'h many yeshivas and torah institutions now offer streaming and downloading of lectures from their own websites. Our hope is to iy"h make as many Torah audio libraries accessible and searchable in one place. Click here for a list of speakers.
With the advance of MP3 digitalization and the accessibility of the internet, the distribution of the many Torah lectures recorded on audio tapes has declined. In an effort disseminate this otherwise lost information, we have undertaken to convert torah audio tape libraries into MP3 digital format.
While most of our audio files are free to download, their are some lectures that can only be streamed live from our site and are not allowed to be downloaded under the issur of gezel. We ask that please not attempt to download files that are intended to "stream".
